IndiPaper System

f the paper machine is fitted with BST ProControl sensors, these measure transversally for example the dry content between the first and second drying group for paper temperatures above 100°C. Oftentimes, the filler/ash content of the paper is also measured. In that process, the final paper quality is determined before the web is rolled up at the end. X-ray sensors to measure the basis weight, infrared or microwave sensor to measure the humidity as well as laser sensors that determine the paper thickness are qualified for this purpose. Thanks to the automated regulation, a product with minimum usage of material and energy is manufactured, whose parameters comply with the specific quality standards.

Highlights:

  • Non-destructive measurement
  • Simultaneously most highest precision and a fast data recording
  • Low waste rate
